DIY Ombre and Lace Nail Art!

FIRST – Choose two nail polishes close in color. I picked out a light pink and a dark purple. Also, you will need a plastic sheet or a plastic Ziploc bag, some toothpicks, and a sponge. You don’t have to use the whole sponge, instead, cut off small sections of it for your nail.

SECOND – Paint on the lightest of the two colors.

THIRD – Paint a generous amount of the two colors next to each other, and swirl together with a toothpick. The larger the swirl between the two colors, the more it’ll give you a blended look on you nail.

FOURTH – Take a piece of the sponge and dab it in the polish.

FIFTH – Dab the sponge on your nail, moving it slightly up and down the nail.

FINAL – Paint on a clear, top coat.

LACE NAILS!

IMG_0727

FIRST – Paint half of your nail, diagonally, with preferably, a light color and use a dark color for the lace. Or you can switch it up and use a dark color as the base and a light color for the lace. Add half circles along the edge of the diagonal.

SECOND – Continue the half circles until you reach the top of the nail.

THIRD – Paint on a second layer of half circles.

FOURTH – Add dots along the half circles and the diagonal.

FINAL – Paint on a clear, top coat. This look is perfect for a girls night out or going on a date 😉
